About the 430 Classic Jumbo Rocker: The 430 Classic Jumbo Rocker, the original Oak rocker made in North Carolina by Troutman Chair Company, works perfectly on your front porch or patio. It features wide, splayed arms giving you ample room to relax. It also includes a taller back with a scooped seat for additional comfort. This rocker features mortise and tenon construction, shaker techniques, interlocking joinery and swelled joint construction. The Classic Jumbo Rocker includes runners with a long arc for a nice, lazy rock. This rocker ships fully assembled and and finished in a water-based urethane for outdoor use in a covered area. They do not hold up well in direct weather. The chairs are also available unfinished or in a variety of beautiful custom finishes. We typically stock the White rocker in our general inventory. All other colors require a special order. Minor assembly needed in order to attach the runners to the rocker. Please use the instructions and nails included with the runners in order to avoid injury.
